PASTA FOR TWO


During this time of quarantine and being indoors more we’ve all had to stare at that kitchen in the face and make magic happen…or order from Doordhash. However, if you’re like us and want to save some money but also try something new, we have the answer for you; cherry tomato and garlic pasta! This pasta recipe is not only good for you but requires ingredients that are affordable and may even be in your own kitchen already.

  1. 1/2 cup of some good (low-key expensive extra virgin olive oil) 

  2. 1-2 pounds of cherry tomatoes 

  3. 3 garlic cloves 

  4. 1/4 yellow onion 

  5. 1/2 teaspoon of minced garlic 

  6. 1/4 red, green, yellow bell peppers 

  7. 3 springs of thyme 

  8. I threw 1/4 cup of chicken stock(if that, gage how you want) and added a little bit of regular tomato sauce(like 3 tablespoons) bc it was low-key too oily. 

  9. I used garlic salt, kosher salt, pepper & red crushed peppers. Finished everything off with fresh Parmesan cheese. Adding basil would be fire too
